I didn’t know what to expect from Garage Society before arriving. All I knew was that I was excited to work in a space with many startups, and to be in Hong Kong. Little did I know that my time here would mean so much more than just an internship.
During my time as a Cadet at Garage Society, Prae and I were often seen prancing and giggling around the office. But this picture might be a bit misleading. It’s true that we had a ton of fun while working, but my 8-week internship at Garage Society has been an invaluable learning experience in various ways.
Working in an environment where you don’t feel relaxed can add to the stress of your day-to-day job. That’s one of the reasons I applied to be a Garage Cadet fter first experiencing the warm environment of Garage Society, where I was also inspired by the close relationships of the members.
