Vivek Mohindra

Co-Founder & Responsible Officer, Kristal.AI

Vivek is the Co-Founder & Responsible Officer of KRISTAL.AI. He has 20+ years of experience in banking, most of it as a fixed income trader/ specialist in Asia managing between USD 200 to 500 million of assets. He has worked for Citibank, Merrill Lynch, UBS and Natixis. He is a popular guest speaker and regularly invited by HKU, HKUST & CUHK as well as many other organisations. LinkedIn recently honoured him as the most-viewed Finance professional on their platform in HK. He is a qualified Fellow CPA and MBA.

Jamie Wilde

Co-Founder and CTO, Miro

Originally from Manchester in the UK, he has been in Hong Kong for 9 years leading teams and projects in technology and startup organizations. Previously, he was Head of Technology - Asia @ TMS & Head of Technology @ HK Startup Notey. Jamie holds a PMP certification & VIM runs through his veins.

As Chief Technology Officer at Miro, Jamie leads the engineering team with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence in serverless cloud architecture delivering a first -of-its-kind Human Body AI workflow. Miro’s brand & athlete analysis AI has been used by Nike, Adidas, Asics & many other sport/lifestyle brands. Since their 2017 launch, Miro’s computer vision technology has analyzed over 6M athletes for more than 600 events worldwide.

In his spare time Jamie enjoys canoeing, running and brewing beer at home. He lives on remote, cozy Lamma Island and is absolutely despised by two cats.

Prior to Xccelerate, Lavine co-founded FLYR and worked with deep learning start-up Thread Genius (acquired by Sotheby’s). Lavine began his career in investment banking in NYC at Lazard’s Mergers & Acquisitions division (M&A) and held investment facing roles at the following funds: Atlas Capital, Marwar Capital and Union Park Capital.

Lavine also serves as Vice President of the Artificial Intelligence Society of HK and on the Board of Directors of the 24 Hour Race, a global non-profit that fights modern slavery.
