Description:

Build a Community of Practice around Impact Management with this community driven meetup

About this event

Join us at Garage Academy in July as welcome back Impact Measurement and Management (IMM) Meetup

After a sold out first edition we're back to unpack funder and impact investor perspectives for the community with this facilitated workshop:

  • What kinds of data are funders/impact investors collecting?
  • Why and how do funders/impact investors engage in IMM?
  • Any challenges that funders/impact investors face in IMM?

We would like to go on a journey with you, to enhance IMM capabilities from measurement and management to communication and stakeholder relationships.

We’re working with international partners to help you prove, improve and share your impact.

Together, we will create our own shared practice of IMM in a safe, open and fun environment. IMM COP Partners want to hear your frustrations and ideas, and then help you devise solutions that work for you!

SOCIAL ENTERPRISE ACADEMY

To succeed in creating sustainable social businesses that deliver high value social and / or environmental impact, social entrepreneurs and ethical leaders at all levels need to develop their practice of leadership and entrepreneurship. The Social Enterprise Academy (SEA) offers a powerful style of learning and development using peer learning, practitioner-led facilitation and space for reflection.  The Social Enterprise Academy Scotland is a charity operating internationally through its wholly owned subsidiary Social Enterprise Academy International CIC. We also have a global network consisting of 13 partner hubs through which learners can connect and share inspiration in their own context.

IMPACT ANALYTICS

At Impact Analytics, we understand that defining THEORY OF CHANGE and measuring SOCIAL IMPACT are not always easy. Since 2010, the founder and the team have been helping organizations of all sizes and types clarify their theory of change, outcome metrics and assess the impact of their community interventions. Our years of experience have taught us to always customize our impact management services according to the development stage of your programme, product or portfolio. We use empirical methods such as the Most Significant Change (MSC) technique to help you prototype, clarify outcome metrics and develop a robust and pitching narrative. We are also adept at quantitative methods such as (quasi) experimental designs or cohort studies for SROI calculation.

IMPACT DATA CONSORTIUM CHAIN

IDCC is a socially-conscious and civic-minded community that advocates the sharing of impact data and knowledge for driving social innovations and unlocking social capital. To empower stakeholders to share with trust, IDCC creates a civic-data infrastructure upon which data is governed for, with, and by the collective community. On our platform of trustable data, we co-create tools to measure and verify outcomes of social services implemented in our society, which impact can be better monitored, evaluated, managed by impact intermediaries and social purpose organizations, and communicated in real time to purpose driven funders for more precise and timely decisions making.
